Youngstown Lions Club

Purpose

  • To create, foster and uphold a spirt of understanding among all peoples of the world.
  • To promote good government and good citizenship at all levels.
  • To be actively involved in civic, cultural and moral welfare of the community.
  • To unite members in the bonds of friendship and understanding.
  • To provide a forum for discussion of all matters of public interest without partisan politics or religion.
  • To freely serve the community and to promote high ethical standards in all aspects of our own daily life.

Meetings

We meet every Thursday at noon at the Youngstown Club, 4th Floor (cost of lunch is included in your dues). We enjoy good fellowship and interesting programs.








If you care about your community and those less fortunate and are willing to combine your efforts with ours to make an impact, please consider joining us in our efforts.

Membership Requirements

  • Any person 21 years of good moral character and reputation may be granted membership.
  • Nominations shall be made on a club form signed by an active member who will also act as sponsor.
  • After investigation and approval by the Board of Directors, the prospect may be invited to become a member.
  • Dues are $70 per quarter ($280 per year). There is an initiation fee of $60.
  • Each year we sponsor one major fund-raiser known as "The Turtle Derby". Every member is expected to help and is given a goal to strive.
